EDIM is constructed around three sectors: the professional, the amateur and the young departement. Professional diplomas awarded by EDIM are the diploma of musical education in jazz (DEM Jazz), the diploma of musical education in current popular music (DEM MAA) and the qualification of musicien-player of current popular music (MIMA).
The EDIM pedagogy focuses on autonomy, accompaniment, musical general knowledge, individual project development and music fundamentals. EDIM counts more than 1100 regular students, 55 teachers, 15 administrative and educational staff and 25 guest musicians pear season including prestigious names.
EDIM is also a music school anchored in the Grand Paris, participating each season in more than 100 auditions, festivals, indoor and outdoor concerts. Besides, EDIM has concluded numerous partnerships with national, regional, and local authorities. EDIM is currently bulding international partnerships with schools and universities in Iceland, Ukraine, Estonia, South Africa and the Island of La Réunion.
